Regent, Roth Serial Number List

The Regent and Roth model instruments were originally manufactured by Reynolds' Ohio Band Instrument Co. division in the same building as F.A. Reynolds models, but appear to use a different serial number sequence than the Reynolds horns. This second serial number sequence was continued on with the Roth brand after Scherl & Roth bought Reynolds in 1946. Please note that this serial number sequence only applies to the Roth *model line* and NOT to other instruments marked Roth-Reynolds.

The earliest Medalist instruments appear to have picked up this second serial number sequence as well, with production beginning in 1961 under RMC ownership. There is some crossover in the serial numbers of late Roth models and early Medalist production, presumably as Reynolds used up existing inventory of Roth production.
